Description

The pool chair has the same characteristics as the shower chair. The seat and backrest are made from white HT-upholstery, a tight glued canvas that somewhat forms to the body during use. The upholstery of the seat is parallel to the pipe which makes sideways and sitting transfers easy to manage.

The pool chair has four stainless steel caster wheels with a diametre of 125mm, and a double brake. These caster wheels are durable and have proved their functionality in wet environments such as bathrooms and swimming pools. The double brake ensures a steady and stable position during transfers.

The arms rests offer comfortable support to the underarms while sitting. The length of the armrests makes it possible to lean on them while standing up and sitting down, and the front of the armrest feels pleasant in the hand. The arm rests can be separately collapsed, which benefits a sideways transfer. The armrest is prepared for forces from the side during transfers.  In collapsed state the arm rest is supported by the backside of the backrest. This means there is no risk of pinched fingers, skin or hair.

The foot rests on the chair are adjustable in height. Due to the connective pipe this is always symmetrical and the feet are always at equal height. The foot rests are collapsible so they are not in the way during standing up or sitting down.
